Rio-Oranges
has been created by a group of like-minded Europeans who have settled
in the :Lake District area north of Rio de Janeiro and who have seen an
opportunity to take advantage of the many benefits of this area to form
a cooperative whose purpose is to acquire and develop land for citrus
growing. Land in this area is plentiful and very inexpensive by European
or North American standards. Skilled workers are easily available at low-cost
for the purposes of planting and maintaining the land. The cost of living
is very low and there is an adequate supply of houses and building land
at prices which are a fraction of European or American levels.
The Rio-Oranges Management Team is supported by a team of local workers who
are experienced in citrus growing and dedicated to the concept of replanting
the land with citrus trees. In addition, Rio-Oranges can provide prospective
investors with information regarding Living in Brazil and access to local
lawyers who can represent them in their purchases.
